Course description

Classroom Boost: A Dose of Creative Coaching is a practical and reflective training course designed for teachers, trainers, and education professionals who want to revitalise their classroom practice through coaching-based approaches.

The course focuses on developing coaching skills adapted to educational settings, helping educators support learners’ motivation, autonomy, well-being, and personal development. Participants explore creative coaching tools, non-formal methods, and reflective practices that strengthen relationships, improve communication, and foster a positive learning climate.

The training is experiential and highly interactive. Participants learn by doing, reflecting, practising coaching conversations, and designing activities that can be immediately transferred to their own classrooms or training environments.

By the end of the course, participants will:

Detailed programme of the mobility period

Day 1 – Introduction to Creative Coaching in Education

Module content:

  • Coaching mindset in education: principles, ethics, and roles
  • Differences between coaching, mentoring, and instruction
  • Self-awareness for educators: strengths, values, and teaching beliefs
  • Group cohesion and trust-building through coaching-based icebreakers

Day 2 – Communication, Listening & Powerful Questions

Module content:

  • Active listening techniques and presence in educational dialogue
  • Open-ended and reflective questioning to stimulate thinking and autonomy
  • Managing challenging conversations with learners using a coaching approach
  • Practising coaching conversations in pairs and small groups

Day 3 – Motivation, Goal Setting & Learner Ownership

Module content:

  • Motivation in learning: intrinsic motivation and learner engagement
  • Goal-setting techniques adapted for learners (SMART, values-based goals)
  • Coaching tools for building responsibility and ownership of learning
  • Supporting learners in overcoming blocks and limiting beliefs

Day 4 – Creative Coaching Tools for Well-Being & Engagement

Module content:

  • Creative and non-formal coaching tools: visualisation, storytelling, metaphors
  • Emotional intelligence and emotional regulation in the classroom
  • Coaching strategies for stress management and resilience
  • Designing creative coaching activities tailored to learners’ needs

Day 5 – Transfer to Practice, Peer Coaching & Action Planning

Module content:

  • Integrating creative coaching into classroom routines and school culture
  • Peer coaching sessions and structured feedback
  • Individual action planning for sustainable implementation
  • Reflection, learning outcomes validation, and certification
